“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…” and that time when every store owner, service provider and anyone with even a tiny marketing bone in their body is trying to get just that little bit extra out of us.
Sale here, free gift there, bundle deal here, pay-less-pay-cash over there. It’s all rather tiresome.
And I don’t intend for this post to be just another one of those. I’m not about to tell you that such-and-such retailer has this too-good-to-be-missed deal or that you can get a red and white bundle for a ridiculously low price if only you purchase NOW!
This email is simply a reminder that cloth absolutely can be an incredible gift (at any time of the year!) and that means any brand. I’m not about to tell you why ours is better – just that cloth is better.*
If you need to up your stash and your baby is really too young to understand what Christmas is all about, why not ask the grandparents to gift you with some cloth nappies?
Many of our retailers (ok, here’s a little plug!) offer gift certificates, and because they stock dozens of different brands, you can choose what works for you. The people purchasing don’t even have to think too hard about which ones to get you… they can just let you decide.
PLUS – and this is a very big plus – cloth nappies are the gift that keep on giving… day after day, week after week, month after month. Just one every day for a year will save you over $140 at the checkout. So that person’s $20 or $30 or $40 gift turns into a $140 just like that. Magic.

*yes, I know how arrogant that sounds, but after 12.5 years of using cloth full time, our family has saved over $12k and 36,000 disposables heading to landfill!
