In September last year, we launched a delightful print that we affectionately named “Icon”.
There’s something so very special about Australian flora and fauna and we decided it was definitely a print story we should continue to tell. Flora Waycott did the most incredible job and we knew she could expand the range for us without losing the magic of the first print.
Icon Red (formerly known simply as Icon) boasts the kangaroo, koala, kingfisher, wattle and bottlebrush.
Icon Blue has the cockatoo, rainbow lorikeet, echidna, wombat, protea and bungalow palm.
While generally considered to be native to South Africa, Protea is the common name used for many of the 1600 species of Proteaceae found in both Australia and South Africa, and of the same plant family as the waratah and banksia.
Icon Green features the possum, platypus, galah and blue-winged kookaburra. The blue-winged kookaburra is predominantly found in the northern parts of Australian and southern areas of Papua New Guinea. We think he’s just gorgeous and adds a delightful hint of blue to this pattern. The flora elements in this print are the leucospermum, gum leaves and gum nuts.
These prints will be available in Multi-fit Pocket Nappies, Paddle Pants, Cómodo Wraps and Beach Bags.
